How analytics and account activity work on AI IQ

Optional behavioral analytics

AI IQ uses optional analytics to understand which model pages, charts, searches, and comparison tools are useful. Where consent is required, identified product analytics does not start unless you accept analytics. You can reopen Privacy Choices at any time.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics supports traffic, acquisition, and campaign reporting. In consent-required regions, analytics storage defaults to denied. Google may receive limited cookieless signals for aggregate measurement while storage is denied, but it does not receive your AI IQ email, name, or Supabase user ID.

Product analytics

When analytics is accepted, AI IQ may use PostHog for semantic product events and associate activity after sign-in with the account's internal Supabase identifier. Session replay is disabled. Arbitrary raw search text is not sent; recognized searches are represented by public model or provider identifiers.

First-party account activity

Signing in, saving a comparison, and changing a subscription require first-party operational records in Supabase. These records continue to work if optional analytics is rejected. Non-consenting accounts are included in PostHog only as daily aggregate counts after small groups are suppressed; their individual account activity is not exported.

Necessary services

Supabase provides authentication and account storage, and Stripe provides subscription billing. Necessary session, security, saved-item, billing, and audit records are separate from optional behavioral analytics.

Changing your choice

Use the Privacy choices link in the site footer, or the floating control where it is displayed, to accept or reject optional analytics. A signed-in choice is also saved to the account profile so it can be applied on another device.

This implementation overview will be replaced or incorporated into AI IQ's final legally reviewed privacy policy before the new engagement vendors are enabled in production.
